Music From the Beyond?
For quite some time now I have been experimenting around with recordings in my house, and whenever I do a recording ... in High Quality mode, I am getting music coming though on the recording. I cannot explain this,
as each time I erase the memory before starting.
Is it possible that there is some residue music left behind? I even get faint music (and a brief voice) when I put the recorder in an airtight tin for 2 minutes.
What do you suggest?
Many thanks,
David

Hi David,
It could be possible that you are picking up radio waves, or you could be picking up music from beyond. Sarah Estep, the founder of the AA-EVP, would pick up unexplainable music during [some of] her recordings.
Anything is possible because we are working with an unknown reality.
We are just at the threshold of experimenting and understanding the Spiritual World.
Best Wishes,
Martha Copeland
Hello David, as Martha suggests, the first step in music captures is to rule out any terrestrial explanation. If you're using a digital recorder, can your results be replicated on another recorder?
If so, that should rule out incomplete erasures on the original recorder as a possible explanation.
Does the music contain any recognizable speech (e.g. station ID, commercials)? Does it sound like any known audio tracks (e.g. popular songs)? The tin idea is a start, if you really want to verify you're not
receiving terrestrial signals you can try to locate a grounded Faraday cage (perhaps at a local university) and record there.
Precautions aside, I have heard musical audio captures with no earthly explanations at the AA-EVP conferences. One captured by AA-EVP founder Sarah Estep is believed to be authored by none other than
Ludwig Van Beethoven, and is available at http://www.aaevp.com/conference/aaevp_conference.html.
Good luck with your captures!
