Resources/Original Background on Martha, Cathy, and the Big Circle

“I’m still here!” ..were the first words we heard from my daughter, Catherine Amiss, since her death from an automobile accident on December 23, 2001. Since then, we have heard from her many times, as other people in our group have heard from their loved ones from beyond. Who would have ever thought that such a thing could be possible?

Cathy, in spirit, seemed to always be with a group of “spirit friends” in dreams, and in EVP (electronic voice phenomena) recordings I received from her. I had heard stories of other EVP experimenters, in their communications with the spirit world, where some spirits seemed to be attached to a special group or team over there, in some cases referred to by name. I was curious if Cathy belonged to such a group, and if so, did they have a name? During a recording, I posed this question to Cathy; to my surprise, her reply was, “Yes, the 'Big Circle'.”

The “Big Circle” consists of our loved ones in spirit along with their loved ones in the physical world. The realization that this group did indeed exist in the spirit world, and was trying desperately to connect to their loved ones here in the physical world, prompted members of the American Association of Electronic Voice Phenomena (AA-EVP) to form a special group called “Big Circle – Bridge to the Afterlife.” This group is made up of bereaved parents, spouses, siblings, and friends, whose mission is to build a channel, a Bridge to the Afterlife. We do this by joining our energies together on alternate Thursdays at 8:00 PM local time. We effectively conduct a worldwide group recording session. Some participants join together in groups, or individually from their homes, making a joint effort to record at the precise time, for about five minutes.

Our mission is quite different than those people who wish to record spirit voices in haunted locations. It is our intent to establish contact with one or more individuals we know and love that are now in the spiritual world. Love doesn’t die--the only difference is that the form of that person has changed; they have moved to a higher existence. It would be “unnatural” not to want to continue our journey together as souls. Our contacts are made out of love and concern for our loved ones in the spirit world.

Advanced technology, such as electronic devices, has made it possible to acknowledge our loved ones around us without the service of a psychic or medium. We can hear their voices once more, and they can answer our questions. Just think how frustrating it must be for them when we ignore their efforts when they reach out to us. Heaven must rejoice each time a loved one is able to break through that veil to reassure a loved one in the physical world of their immortality.

Our circle here, and in the spiritual world, keeps expanding, as it produces some amazing results from our EVPs proving we established contact with our loved ones. As word travels of our “Big Circle” here and in the spiritual (in the same way it attracted the attention of Universal Studios), we can expect new growth and changes. Each new name added to our spiritual roster and every photo added to our memorial web site becomes an extended family in both worlds.

My book, “I’m Still Here” (see evpcommunications.com) contains stories pertaining to the “Big Circle” that I hope will reach those who are not sure of a world beyond the physical world we live in, replacing their doubts with a renewed faith and hope that, yes, we go on.

This website is dedicated to our participants whose primary interest is in building that Bridge to the Afterlife. Please use this website to assist you in your communications with those in the spirit world, and the physical world: your extended family. May it help those who are newly bereaved understand our mission and goals.

Also, if you are new to this incredible phenomenon, the AA-EVP's main website at www.aaevp.com offers valuable information on how to record EVP, suggested books, and additional information on our “Big Circle – Bridge to the Afterlife” group. Peace be with you,
Martha Copeland
